Privacy policy

StudioGTM is committed to protecting the privacy of the people it works with and of visitors to its website. This policy sets out, openly, what personal data is collected in connection with studiogtm.ai and its subdomains (the "Website"), why it is collected, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices and rights available.
Studio Genesis Ltd, trading as StudioGTM ("StudioGTM"), is the data controller in respect of that personal data. Company details and the contact address for privacy matters are set out in section 11.
1. Individuals about whom data is collected
StudioGTM processes personal data relating to the following categories of individuals:
- Visitors: individuals who access the Website.
- Enquirers: individuals who submit a form, request materials, schedule a consultation, or otherwise make contact through the Website on behalf of an organisation.
- Subscribers: individuals who subscribe to communications from StudioGTM.
- Customers: individuals who register for or purchase any product or service made available through the Website.
The Website is not directed at children, and StudioGTM does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
2. Personal data collected
StudioGTM collects the following categories of personal data:
- Identity and contact data: name, business email address, telephone number, job title, professional profile information and the organisation represented.
- Enquiry data: information concerning an organisation and its requirements provided in the course of an enquiry, consultation request, subscription, registration or purchase.
- Technical and usage data: internet protocol address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser characteristics, the pages accessed and the sequence and timing of such access, the source from which the Website was reached, and interactions with its content and features.
- Marketing and communications data: consent choices and communication preferences.
3. Purpose of collection
Personal data is collected to respond to enquiries and to provide the materials, consultations, products or services requested; to assess the suitability of StudioGTM's services for the organisation represented; to communicate regarding services StudioGTM considers relevant, including by email and telephone; to operate, secure, maintain and improve the Website and StudioGTM's services; to measure the performance of the Website and of StudioGTM's advertising; to comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Sources of data
Personal data is collected directly from the individual through forms, correspondence and scheduling tools on the Website; automatically through cookies, server logs and similar technologies as the Website is used; and from publicly available professional and corporate sources used to verify or supplement information provided.
5. Legal basis of processing
- Enquirers and customers: processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the individual's organisation is party, or in order to take steps at the individual's request prior to entering into a contract.
- Marketing communications to business contacts: processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by StudioGTM in promoting its services, which are not overridden by the interests or fundamental rights of the individual. Objections to such communications are honoured at any time, by reply to any message or by request to the address in section 11.
- Website operation, security, analytics and advertising measurement: processing is necessary for the purposes of StudioGTM's legitimate interests in operating and improving the Website and its services, or, where applicable law so requires, is based on the individual's consent.
- Legal obligations: processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations to which StudioGTM is subject.
6. Disclosure and place of processing
Personal data is disclosed to service providers that process it on behalf of and under the instructions of StudioGTM, in the categories of hosting, server-side tag management, analytics and session recording, data warehousing, advertising and conversion measurement, email delivery, scheduling and customer-relationship management; to professional advisers; to regulators, courts and other authorities where required by applicable law or legal process; and to a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.
StudioGTM does not sell personal data. Processing takes place in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and the United States.
7. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, StudioGTM relies on adequacy regulations made under applicable data protection law or on contractual safeguards approved under that law.
8. Retention
Personal data is processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose for which it was collected. The applicable period is determined by reference to the nature and duration of StudioGTM's relationship with the individual and the organisation represented, whether a contractual relationship follows, StudioGTM's legal, regulatory and accounting obligations, and the existence of any actual or anticipated dispute or claim. Personal data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies for essential site operation, for analytics and session recording, and for advertising measurement and remarketing. Analytics and advertising measurement are provided by Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads), collected through a server-side tag management endpoint operated on StudioGTM's behalf; product analytics and session recording are provided by PostHog and hosted in the European Union. Information on how Google uses data from sites that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites; personalised advertising from Google may be controlled at adssettings.google.com.
Visitors from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Quebec are asked for consent before these technologies are permitted to store or read cookies; where consent is withheld, Google tags send limited, cookieless signals only. Elsewhere these technologies operate by default and may be turned off at any time. Session recording is not operated for visitors from California. Consent choices may be reviewed or changed at any time:
10. Rights of data subjects
Subject to applicable law, data subjects have the right to request access to their personal data; to request its rectification or erasure; to object to, or request restriction of, its processing; to request its transfer in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Requests are to be submitted to the contact address in section 11 and may be subject to verification of identity.
Data subjects in the United Kingdom have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); data subjects elsewhere may complain to the supervisory authority competent in their jurisdiction.
